Last November, at the 2010 Los Angeles Motor Show, Mercedes-Benz unwrapped the most potent member of its new sports sedan family, the 2012 CLS 63 AMG. Now, the Stuttgart-based firm has released a slew of new photos depicting the aggressively styled four-door sedan in all sorts of poses, which you can check out right after the jump.The new top dog of the CLS clan is equipped with the newly developed AMG 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine, featuring a peak output of up to 557-horsepower and 800 Nm of torque (with the optional performance package), as well as the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission. According to Mercedes, the standard 525HP model completes the 0-60mph sprint in 4.4 seconds while the 557HP variant, in just 4.3 seconds.
The new 2012 CLS63 AMG goes on sale in the US in the summer of 2011.
