The widebody kit is offered in either carbon fiber or high-grade glass fiber-reinforced plastic, the latter of which undergoes a special process the company calls tempering. This means parts are heated to exactly 65° C (149 ° F) and then cooled down in a mold for 25 minutes in order to increase resistance and avoid cracks. The carbon fiber parts are 20 percent lighter than those made from glass fiber-reinforced plastic.
The base package consists of inner and outer front fenders, door panels, front bumper, rear apron, rocker panels and a complete rear end. For the front bumper, Wittera offers two options: a deeper one that underlines the strong appearance of the widebody conversion, or a flatter one designed for Corvette C5s fitted with a suspension lowering system.
The Ludwigsfelde-based company also offers 20 different sets of wheels for the Corvette C5, the largest of which measures 9 x 19 inches on the front axle and 13 x 20 inches on the rear shod in 255x35 ZR 19 tires and 345x25 ZR 20 respectively. The company also provides made-to-measure aluminum spacers.
