his beautifully shot film was shot on the brilliant Canon 5D Mk 2.
No surprises there then, we all know about the supreme quality of the Mk 2, which was even considered sufficient to shoot an episode of the hit US show House.
But what is surprising is that the film was shot using a lens that is over 100-years-old.
Director of photography Timor Civan used a 1908 Wollensak 35mm F5.0 Cine-Velostigmat lens attached to his Canon and, previous to this film, shot some beautiful stills with his old meets new hybrid.
The film is just a test run for a project Civan has in the pipeline, which, if it's anywhere as good as this, you can expect to see featured on Pocket-lint in the future.
