Geely McCar

At the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, Chinese automaker Geely displayed an interesting concept car called McCar, whose funny name reportedly stands for “Magic car” and “Motorcycle Car” , and has nothing to do with the famous chain of fast-food restaurants – unless you take into consideration the fact that there is a folding electric scooter sandwiched between the rear seats of the car…
The sub-compact model can accommodate four people plus one three-wheeled, foldable electric scooter, which can come in very handy in China's busy urban traffic. And if the owner leaves the scooter at home, there remains enough room in the back to house a standard fold-up wheelchair.
Designed to be equipped with either a gasoline-electric hybrid or a fully electric powertrain with a 12 kWh battery, Geely’s McCar has a driving range of 150 kilometers (93 miles) and can reach a top speed of 84 km/h (52 mph) in EV setup. As a hybrid, the gasoline engine extends driving range to 650 km (404 miles) and helps the car reach a maximum speed of 130 km/h (81 mph).
