Teaser for Jackie Chan's New Historical Epic '1911'

1911
Yep, he's already made another (fairly epic) movie before you even knew it. Bleeding Cool found a trailer for an upcoming Chinese film titled 1911 that is apparently being billed as Jackie Chan's 100th feature film, not only because he stars in it but also because he co-directed. The film is a historical epic about "the founding of the Republic of China when nationalist forces led by Sun Yat-sen overthrew the Qing Dynasty." This is actually an early Japanese teaser for the Chinese film, so it's got a kind of classically epic feel to it, but I'm sure there's more to see of this. Jackie Chan does look awesome though. No subtitles, but still check it out!
Watch the first Japanese trailer for Jackie Chan & Li Zhang's Chinese film 1911:
A historical drama about the founding of the Republic of China when nationalist forces led by Sun Yat-sen overthrew the Qing Dynasty. This also co-stars: Bing Bing Lee, Wen Xuan Zhao, Joan Chen & Jaycee Chan.
1911 is actually co-directed by actor Jackie Chan, who's directed films like Dragon Strike, Project A, Police Story 1 & 2 before, as well as Li Zhang, a cinematographer making his directing debut after working as the DP on films like Red Cliff, A World Without Thieves, Roaring Across the Horizon and The Banquet. This is being released in the US by Well Go the same date as in China, starting Wednesday, October 12th, this fall.
