Legendary F1 Machine 】Walter Wolf Racing's WR1 made its debut at the 1977 Argentina GP and sensationally won the race. It was a historic result as it was the first time ever for a new team to win their debut race with a new car. The team was founded by Canadian businessman Walter Wolf and the WR1 which featured a light and considerably compact design was designed by Harvey Postlethwaite. With Jody Scheckter at the wheel, the WR1 also went on to win the Monaco and Canadian GPs. At the end of the season, Jody Scheckter finished 2nd in the driver standings while the team finished a respectable 4th in the constructor standings despite only fielding one car.

■Rear wingtip panels are extended to the horizontal support stay in order to secure the rear wing.

■Long wheelbase specification includes a spacer between the engine and gearbox and extended cowlings.

■The DFV engine includes the fuel pipes and ignition cords to further enhance realism.


■Cockpit features realistic details such as seatbelt, fire extinguisher, and pedals.

■Front and rear suspension incorporates coil springs to enable movement.

■Photo-etched parts are included to depict front/rear brake discs, oil coolers, and seatbelt buckles.
