In other words, Alan has a voracious appetite for unique vehicles and deep enough pockets to satisfy his needs.
So how did he come up with the idea of turning a Rolls Royce Phantom into the odd-looking creation pictured here? Well, as with anything else in the UK, it all started with the gloomy weather (and moods…) and Alan’s need to put some color in his life, or more specifically, in the Phantom.
For the design, Alan went with Pablo Rabiella, a UK-based designer who specializes in expensive handmade jewelry, but has also ventured in the car styling business.
The next step was to find a company capable of applying Rabiella’s creative work on the Phantom as Rolls Royce’s bespoke department would not take over such an extreme project fearing that it would hurt the company’s image. That company was SuperVettura and the result so far is what you see in the gallery below.
There are far too many details to list, but it is worth noting that everything you see is handmade, from the special purple paint with yellow and white speckles to the bespoke interior trim.
The ongoing project has been in the works for 7 months now, but it shouldn’t be long before SuperVettura puts the final touches on the one-of-a-kind Phantom.
